Coast through stop signs. It’s important to keep up your momentum.
Walk your dog down the middle of the street. Not everyone shovels their sidewalks, but the roads are always plowed.
Eat bacon. Maybe that’s just in our family, but once there are at least 3 inches of the white stuff on the ground, we are entitled to cook up one pound of bacon.
Watch TV during the day. There is something a little risque about watching Walking Dead when it's light out.
Wear ugly boots. Thanks to all the salt and sand thrown down, I don’t like to wear decent boots when there’s snow on the ground. I have a pair of rubber rain boots with paw prints on them. They work perfectly well in the snow, and they’re not just for dog walks.
Wear jeans to work when it’s not Friday. (They go better with the ugly boots.)
Visit with neighbors. I guess we usually go from work, to car, to house and don’t generally see our neighbors, especially during the winter. But a little snow brings everyone out.
If it’s a full on day off, have a little something special in your morning coffee.
Complain about the weather. (Not me. I like snow, and not just because of the bacon.)
